Apparently I need to get better about this. So how have the last few months been you ask? Well even if you didn't ask....

How do you know you are getting old? Your reunions from graduating are beginning to look more like an age you want to be. 30 years ago - and now I get to see my niece at the games with the opposing school. Boy who thought that would be coming up so soon.

Anyway we have great plans too! Next Friday night is the big game between the rivals Page and GRIMSLEY! Tailgating prior to the game and they are expecting about 8000 people~ then we have an after party at the Elks club. Saturday for those that wanted to can walk through the halls of the ol' place. I'm thinking of skipping that part.

Saturday night is the big night on the town to downtown Blandwood Mansion. Dancing, visiting and networking.... can't wait to see some of my old friends.

I was talking to someone at work and realized I am so into using all my PC's and various IP's that I totally have not updated in a long time.

So here is my current life...

Remodeled one of my bathroom's with a cool color called Fossil Sandstone - sorta a touch of green in the paint. LOVE how it turned out. Put in all new flooring and updated the shower curtain with metallic woven into into, added the different piece of artwork all courtesy of Bed, Bath and Beyond :)

More later... back to the grind for now

One of my favorite Thanksgiving memories was going to Disney for Thanksgiving. There were 9 of us in one timeshare with 3 bedrooms - we had a blast.

This year the plans are to have a meal prepared by Embassy Suites.. and then some frickin turkey at my BFF Joan's house , along with lots of laughter, wine, cheese, crackers and tons of merriment to follow... Can't WAIT !!

Seahorses are a genus (Hippocampus) of fish belonging to the family Syngnathidae, which also includes pipefish and leafy sea dragons.

There are over 32 species of seahorse, mainly found in shallow tropical and temperate waters throughout the world. How cool is that?

They prefer to live in sheltered areas such as sea grass beds, coral reefs, or mangroves. Colonies have been found in European waters such as the Thames Estuary. From North America down to South America there are approximately four species, ranging from very small in size (dwarf seahorses are only about an inch long) to those much larger, found off the Pacific Coast of Central America (the foot-long Hippocampus ingens). Hippocampus erectus are larger seahorses found anywhere from Nova Scotia down to around Uruguay.

We experience peace when we are in a state of mental calm and serenity. It might surprise you to notice how infrequently you allow yourself to be free from anxiety. Realizing this is the first step to inner peace. If you wait until all the details of your life are taken care of to allow yourself to experience peace, you will never feel peaceful because there is always something that your mind can grab onto to create anxiety. It is important to consciously set aside your worries and make time to cultivate inner peace.

Surrender Box - A Place for Worries and Fears

A friend shared this with me... and I wanted to share with everyone...

There are times when our minds become too full. Our to-do lists, worries, plans, and dreams may be so crowded together in our heads that we don’t have room to think. We may believe that we are somehow taking care of our desires and concerns by keeping them at the forefront of our minds. In maintaining our mental hold on every detail, however, we may actually delay the realization of our dreams and the resolution of our worries because we won’t let them go. At times such as these, we may want to use a surrender box.

A surrender box allows us to let go of our worries and desires so the universe can take care of them for us. We write down what we want or need to happen and then place the note into a box. By writing and placing our thoughts in the box, we are taking action and letting the universe know we need help and are willing to surrender our feelings. We give ourselves permission to not concern ourselves with that problem any longer and trust that the universe is taking care of it. You may even want to decorate your box and place it in a special place. Your surrender box is a sacred container for your worries. Not only do you free up space in your mind by letting go of our worries and desires and dropping them into your surrender box, but you are giving your burden over to a higher power. Once we drop our worries and desires into the surrender box, we free our minds so we can be fully present in each moment.

Surrendering our worries and concerns and placing them in the hands of the universe doesn’t mean that we’ve given up or have been defeated. Instead, we are releasing the realization of our desires and the resolution of our worries and no longer concerning ourselves with their outcomes. It’s always fun to go back and pull the slips of paper out of the box once your requests have been granted. And it’s amazing how quickly problems go away and dreams come true when we finally let go and allow a higher power to help us.

This is supposed to be an easy thing to do... I gave them what I wanted and only a couple of them followed my "suggestion" for insurance quotes (note this is for ONE single car) Total Mileage per Year = 9000 miles (yes that is all I drive!)

So here is the variety of cost quoted at annual premiums:

So I wonder, how do other companies such as BBB and EEE remain in business? Craziness I say, oh and then I got a couple of homeowner quotes as well - one was 3 times as much and not nearly the same coverage I have now!!

I think I was truly almost insane on Friday.... my neice Rebecca called and did the "oh Aunt Judy.... we found the cutest kitten... and don't you want to come see it????"

Hook, line and sinker... so being the nice aunt - I went to see the kitten. Well there was another modas operanda - I owed her a birthday gift, so that came along with me.

The kitten was beyond cute and looked very similar to DF Joan's Romeo and DF Betsy's MeiLei.... but alas the good old allergy picked right up and I started sneezing.

I was that...... close to saying maybe. My sister said, you are sneezing, your eyes are watering, the cat needs to not be up in your arms and you playing with it.

SAD to say.... kitten did not come home with me. But I suppose for the best! Rebecca's friend Morgan down the street said she would take the kitten, so I can still visit from afar.

Boy my life if boring if I have to write about kittens I can't have :(

Thought it was catchy anyway. So it's been a couple of weeks since I posted last - but heck I have been really busy.

I went to my DF Louise's about a month ago for a quick get together. Actually there were quite a few of us there and finally met her DDI Cami. This turned out to be an adventure with the unique opportunity of TW. I ordered a few things as every one would, asked questions because you know I like to talk.

Introvert 101 - pretend like you aren't and people think you are really an extrovert. Okay so I believe I am reserve in a lot of areas. Socially I am shy - really... so when my new DF Misty approached me to be a consultant under Cami, then Angela and then me... I hesitated. I really think I made a great choice. I have had two catalog parties already and two more are under way.

Please don't think I am trying to really get everyone into this - it really is fun! AND I enjoy the socializing, the friends as well as the cool tuppers that I got to start. Just contact me or my manager and DF Angela or my new DF Misty. Next post family updates.... I'm going to Boone this weekend to the family cabin with the 'rents' and big sis, neices and BIL.

Forgive me first if this is kinda confusing...... jet lag - yes it is real even if I did come home on Friday ....

So the week was fun! Really it was - I learned a lot about China and the number 8. Food was pretty good and then oh yes..... lest you forget a week of 15 hours at work/day.... and then getting up at 3:15am Friday to get a 6:40am flight... {Returning rental cars, check-in, etc...}

First - Eddie had 4 lbs over and they charged him 80 bucks. So coming back we distributed his stuff amongst all of us (and Phoenix didn't weigh luggage!)

Then of course the luggage had to remain in Atlanta as it wasn't ready to come home (times our entire group - 8 sets of luggage)... Then Eddie couldn't find keys to his car - so had to call AAA to unlock the car, which I had to stay there since he didn't have AAA and was on my membership.

I was so tired I didn't realize that Eddie didn't mean his extra keys were in the car. Just his house keys - so I was going to have to drive him home.... but then AAA sent 'the man' to McCleansville - didn't know they had an airport!!!!

So finally the AAA dude shows up and it's almost 6pm - so the luggage showed up meanwhile and Eddie's keys were in his luggage... GEEEZZZZ you are right I don't have jet lag.. .just pure exhaustion!

Since I so 'hastily left' my other postion or so said Shamu, he worked out a deal with new boss to come back and train the new person placed in my old role.

In actuality there was a 3 week delay in my moving to new boss area. So anyway - the position was posted as noted previously with "what I do for a living". Apparently there is not a single person in all of AE that qualifies for the job at this time. Six persons applied and none of them could do half of what I did....
Just thought that was a hoot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stuff a miniature marshmallow in the bottom of a sugar cone to prevent ice cream drips.
To keep potatoes from budding, place an apple in the bag with the potatoes.
When a cake recipe calls for flouring the baking pan, use a bit of the dry cake mix instead and there won't be any white mess on the outside of the cake.
If you accidentally oversalt a dish while it's still cooking, drop in a peeled potato and it will absorb the excess salt for an instant 'fix-me-up.'
Wrap celery in aluminum foil when putting in the refrigerator and it will keep for weeks.
Brush some beaten egg white over pie crust before baking to yield a beautiful glossy finish.
Cure for headaches: take a lime, cut it in half and rub it on your forehead. The throbbing will go away.
If you have a problem opening jars, try using latex dishwashing gloves. They give a non-slip grip that makes opening jars easy.
Don't throw out all that leftover wine. Freeze into ice cubes for future use in casseroles and sauces.

Swiss Sampler - Week 1 Progress

Slow but sure wins the.....

okay well slow going, when you have to wear magnification and since it is going to be judged it must be 100% correct. Only removed one part, but then also went from using 1 strand versus 2 strands.... The part I am taking out is the two eyelets above the buds - they really need to be dark purple instead of green.

So here I am - week 1 - 1 motif completed!!! Happy dance since it had 5 color changes, next motif is beige (ewwwww!!!) with more beige! You know there is no way it will be that dull :)

Just another Sunday

Unless of course you were entranced by watching DAYTONA BABY! (not like Jean or Joan were doing anything else but that!!!!!!!)

Now for myself and several other ladies of the guild we all tramped out in the lovely gray weather that is threatening rain (GOD please send us some substantially wet and intense rain for multiple days), to spend the afternoon stitching on the group correspondence course. It is a lovely Swiss Sampler that is some endless blackwork.

I'm on row 1 - motif 1. Average stitching time thus far for at least Rachel and I about 3 hours. Average ripping out time - 20 minutes for every 1 hour stitched. If it didn't have to be mirror image and didn't have to be sent in for judging later, I wouldn't care so much. For some unknown reason I went along with the concept of - this will be fun to do as a group!

Progress is slow and the design is only roughly 15 x 18, but when completed I think it will be really nice.

Progress reports will be made randomly as you know I can't be consistent on these things .......

Now if that isn't something else! So much for energy today, I did get a new wireless router as the other one seemed to stop working. How annoying when you really don't want to be 'attached' to a long cable just to be able to walk around. Guess that H's toy really would be a cool thing to have. Scary for me that I could figure it out as I didn't think I was that techy minded.

The rents want to update to a newer computer, but they want me to figure out how to transfer data. Well that would be simple if they had kept up with the times and new versions on things. There are some things that are worth not getting involved in as I don't have the same software as they do, nor does anyone else that I'm aware of.

No big updates other than life moves on.... just thought I'd post a note to say still alive and kicking in the balmy 48 degrees today.

I have found that there are things that I should avoid in life..... and here is my current list:

Individuals always say not to say "yes" to everything that everyone asks of you. Let me give you an excellent example: Do you think that it is crucial to have someone train the supposed trainers in Manila? "Yes"

Nice, however the supposed training the trainers didn't occur as they didn't go to class with Tracy. As I now know, she uninvited some and others just didn't want to show up. Of course at this point in time was when the Rebels decided to run the tanker through the middle of the hotel where Tracy was staying!!!

Okay so now... repeat above question ...... "Do you think that it is crucial to have someone train the supposed trainers in Manila? "Yes"

And repeat - Judy does not have a passport and is in charge of training!! So how do we fix this???? Well Shamu as some of you know, said well I need possibly someone to go there!! NOT! NO! NOT ME! NOT SOON OR IN MY LIFETIME IF I CAN AVOID IT!!!!

Here's the plan - say yes to the following: I will be glad to train them over the web and do a web conference. This should take one day to train them and be available for any questions thereafter.

Did I think that would work, if one considers competency levels there? Ummmm let's suffice it to say that training the trainer far exceeded the initial one day....

So how many hours can one work in one week? 64 last week, that was just to train not only the trainer - but 27, no make that 10, no make that 17, no make that 24, no make that BETTER be 27 done by January 14th. And how many did we officially completely have ready for tomorrow? Thirteen that I trained, and supposedly Manila was to have a class on Saturday to 'catch up' those that didn't get all 3 mandatory days of training.

Next fine example of why Judy needs to learn the meaning of NO! and stick to it?

So Judy, how are you with pets? Good and why I asked? Well you know (this is a co-worker/friend) I will be in Canada starting Monday for 2 weeks.

Yes and??? Here is where I faltered..... that means what to me? Well said the co-worker.... I was wondering - could you take care of my dog while I'm gone?

SURE... (dumb, dumb, dumb - requires I get up earlier in the morning to go walk the dog and go everyday after work to feed/walk the dog)

So I say no problem (dumb, dumb, dumb!!!!) and go today to meet the dog.

How many of you know about dogs and certain breeds that have certain temepremants? (ie German Sheperds)

Temperament

The breed has a personality marked by direct, fearless willingness to protect what it considers its "den" (i.e. house, car, and property in a home situation) and "pack" (i.e. human family in a home situation). It is poised, but when the occasion demands, eager and alert; both fit and willing to serve in its capacity as a companion, watchdog, guide dog for people who are blind, herding dog, or guardian, whichever the circumstances may demand.
Proper socialization as a puppy is one of the two key factors which determines what a dog's temperament will be as an adult. Genetics is the other. They go hand-in-hand; a dog with certain genetics cannot be trained to be stable and friendly, and by the same token the genetics most fit for training are meaningless if the dog is not well-socialized as a puppy. The "ideal" German Shepherd should be alert and fearless in defense of its den and pack, but loving and non-aggressive within the home environment.

(Did I mention????? INSERT EXTRA DUMB here!!!)

Ahhh so I meet the lovely Dakota, my friend and I take the dog for a walk. He was so nice and kind and sorta listened except that he is loosing his hearing. Bring Dakota back in and reach down to take off the leash. Said lovely dog - choose now to bring out bad temper of German Sheperds and proceed to take a bite out of the hand that would have fed him.

So where was I about learning not to say "yes"? Oh yeah, that's it... needless to say my friend was appalled and said ready to put him down. He was so upset and has already called me twice since the incident.

Forgot to mention one other small minor point, Dakota did break the skin and managed to draw a bit of blood, however so far, so good - no issues! Just some ice, a good cleaning and rest. (She says as she is typing away on here!!)

Anyway - I kept saying my new word for 2008 is to say "No" or use the new phrase "Um let me think... that would be NO!!!!"

What a week!! And the title is a slight hint that it has been a trying week for my credit card as it got used for items that I wouldn't wish on anyone at this time of year.

MAJORLY exciting - I have new carpet and it's all done!!! And I'm so elated, right before the holidays so I can have people over.....

Happy dance was ensued!!!!

but wait.... the demented force of nature had to stop in...... okay not nature - but the house monsters? No maybe it was just plain old dumb luck for the lucky restoration company!

First, I came home from work last Friday and stepped in a wet spot on the floor, thought nothing of it but decided to put a paper towel down to clean that up. HAHAHAHA - it soaked up a lake in a second. So walking back from the kitchen to the great room, it was even more damp walking on the carpet. (Yes that would be the new fresh carpet!! 2 days old and counting.....)

So my honey came by and I mentioned that I think the water line to the freezer may have sprung it's 2nd leak since I have lived here. The plumber in October fixed it just right - timing it to leak just right after the guys left from installing the carpet. Not that I blame them....

Now for the fun... you choose which one you think is the culprit:

It could have been the painter that had to move the fridge to paint behind it

or it could be the furniture that was stacked in the kitchen and may have moved the fridge,
or it could just be plain old fact that the plumber didn't do his job right the first time???

Okay I'll wait whilst you choose from the above 3 options.....

So I shed a few tears as how could this happen.... my honey said "Well, let's move the furniture and see how bad it is." Then we proceeded to move the dining room table, 4 chairs, 2 bookcases, a sofa table and the new handmade cotton rug that was in that area for blending colors....

The carpet was ... well .... saturated more than one could believe! I think this happened when the painter came over Tuesday to do some touch-ups and pulled the fridge out.... so 3 days of leaking ice maker line makes for a lot of water on the floor.

Thankfully the new pad was thick and soaked up most of it in an area of about 5 feet by 8 feet. It also did soak up through the carpet and the area rug.... so he and I pulled up the carpet and laid it back on top of itself. Pulled out all my 2 of my oscillating fans plus 2 ceiling fans to try to dry it a bit.

I called the plumber to see if they could come by and fix the issue.... sure it's Friday, after 5, holiday week and for a mere $100/hr they could send someone.... WHAT? Okay so I chose to have Mark tighten the valve and turn it off as much as he could, the plumbing appointment was set for Wednesday the 26th....

Mark had to leave, so here I sat thinking... well now what????!!!!!!

My mom called and asked if I had dinner, well no! , can't get to the kitchen at the moment due to the wet floor and fans .... what a mess!

So the 'rents' took me out to dinner, Dad being the 'father figure' that he is said, "Well did you call the insurance company and file a claim?" What is this? Insurance - is that what I pay for? I never have done that, never filed a claim.

So right then and there - called the insurance company this is now about 8:30pm last Friday. Porsha the phone rep was more than pleasant, and kept saying oh wow.... that is something... how bad is it??? Needless to say the lovely young man, Shaun, from Bridgeport Restoration Services popped over at about 9:30pm to assess the situation.

Kinda like this... yep you gotta a leak, looks like a lot of water. Let me see how much... oh wow over 50% moisture in the walls and carpeting. So lucky me I got to have the 3 turbo fans and dehumidifier for 3 days. He cut out all the now soaked padding, and flipped the carpet over the fans to let the carpet "flop in the air to dry". He had Thomas come back at 10am on Saturday to check and again on Sunday night - the moisture got down below 10%.....

Happy dance was ensued!!!!

Thomas took all the equipment out and I finally had some quiet time to reflect on all this fun that I was having ... NOT!!!!!

Monday I went back over to Home Depot from whom I got the best deal on the carpet and explained that I needed someone to come back out and re-estimate laying of carpet. They never had this issue come up before, hmmmm isn't that interesting??? ANYWAY... Reese (god love him!) called me on Wednesday evening to set up coming over Thursday morning between 8am and 9am.

But back to the plumber that was to come on Wednesday - John's Plumbing Service - yes the real name for them.

I have used thier services for years, though this may be close to the last time.

Joe the head guy called, he states " I checked on the paperwork the last time we were there, it doesn't say we worked on the waterline for the fridge."

Judy -"Well that is because Jimmie said he felt bad about charging me for something like that being I had only lived here two weeks at that time (this was in October) and he only billed me for the installation of faucets and the water closet."

Joe - "I see, well they aren't supposed to do that. Let me have him come back out since this is really a recall of the last work order. He should be out there shortly."

Not even ten minutes later... Joe called back, "Uh Jimmie isn't available for a few hours. I am going to send Mike, you'll like him he does a great job and been with us for several years."

Are you thinking like me... oh great... just what I need.. a highly recommended plumber from the boss man. Okay let me say Mike was great, I showed him the problem. He put in a new faucet/lever thingie just like I asked. He did have to cut out some of the old pipe, solder in some new and did have to cut a whole in my newly painted wall but overall did a great job!

Small price quote of $316 for one faucet/lever and a new braided line from the wall to the fridge.

Funny - I got a letter in the mail today that said they had overcharged me and that they in fact only billed me $178 (wasn't that nice!!! :) )

Ken from Home Depot called with the quote for replacement of the full room as Reese said he really didn't think it was right to have "new water damaged cleaned carpet" in the room. Small price here too $1236.68, not bad if I can convince the insurance company and if I can get the same dye lot. Oh I forgot... the original installation of carpet was short by about 4 yards, so I have already had to deal with the dye lot matching issue once this past week.

Called Marsha, Marsha, Marsha at the insurance company - all she wants is a fax with the price and then she will review it. Also she wanted to talk to Shaun and Thomas at Bridgeport Restoration for their opinions again. If they say okay to replace and the dye lots are not available... I get to have the whole place redone again!

Now.. how was your holiday??

Actually - it wasn't all that bad... so far.... everything I needed done was done timely (other than the plumber) and done very well.

Last month of 2007

So we are finally in the last month of the year. I have had quite a hectic year and a lot to be thankful for, though I'm a bit behind on thanking everyone for all they have done to help me this year.

I'm thankful for all the friends that have supported me through not one but two moves in the last 18 months. Thankful for those that pushed me to 'do the right thing' in getting a place to live that I can call my own. Thankful for all the thoughts, prayers and words of kindness that can only be called very welcome.

I have made many new friends this year, gone to lots of interesting places and grown a lot with the new job. So for next year what does that leave????

Lots more to come I'm sure - always there is something to do with the new abode. Painting is completely done, waiting on the carpet installers, then perhaps new kitchen floor next year...

Anyway to all a grateful and heartfelt thanks for getting me this far this year. I really do mean that.

Monthly Update

Well it seems it is more monthly than anything else. I think Jean, Jill, Heather and Teresa have more than covered Louisville.

I for one had a great time. Found out a whole lot about friendships that I didn't know and how easily some felt lost in the crowd. More details later if I'm up to discussing all the things that some left in my trust. I was truly amazed at how many of those in other groups "knew about that first class of Eileen's".

Apparently there was quite a discussion about us - hmmmm wonder how that happened and here I thought we all behaved so well this year (giggles......)

Anyway - suffice it to say the taxi ride to Cinncinnati allowed me to catch up on sleep that was much needed and then a quick jet ride on home to Greensboro. I worked for four days the following week and then off to Washington, DC with my honey.

We chose to ride Amtrak up to DC and then used the Metro to get around. Best part, no driving, worst part... my feet got really tired of walking end to end from Lincoln Memorial to the Capitol and all around. At least I think we walked an average of about 4 miles a day, so again I got some much needed rest each evening. We also got to see George Clooney as he was filming "Burn After Reading" along the parkside of the Memorial Lake.

I also purchased a "Passport" for the National Parks. Did you know there are over 20 parks in DC alone? And we visited everyone of those. Additionally there is a really cool place right around the corner from Ford's Theatre called the International Spy Museum - worth every penny of the $16 ticket.

Spying is incredible - and so unique in how people spy, get away with it for so long and then are caught. Kinda like "Get Smart" modified 10,000 fold. There were lots of film clips, spy equipment and generally a lot to read/do in there.

Okay so back from DC, then I was back at work (yuck hate I have to do that when I was having oh so much more fun!).

Had a small housewarming party last weekend with about 20 friends. Plenty of food, drink and total merriment was ensued. I am really happy with the new abode - all unpacked and painted.

I went to my first HOA meeting, one of the 'elders' whispered not so quietly when I walked in "No way she is a homeowner, she's too young!" What a hoot, and then I was nominated from the floor by a neighbor to be on the HOA Board. Didn't win this year but another neighbor said they would hold a novina for me for next year. By the way - average age 75, only 3 of us are under the age of 50.

It is obvious now to most of you how little time I have spent on the computer. What's been going on with me lately....

New Job - well sort of...officially permanent in Credit Partners (MAJOR HAPPY DANCE!!) Otherwise I would be in Phoenix right now and sitting out there working like a one-armed paper hanger for the next two weeks.

Two people in that group left the new group this week. This is really major since one is my manager who got a promotion, the other one well------ she just decided to quit - no 2 week notice and move to a new start to start a Mobil Dog Washing business.

Setting up all the social events for our out of town guests for the next four weeks, which means I will be a bit more occupied than usual.. imagine that!!

Been to Hotlanta and brought my friend Joan with me. What a great time that was!!

My apartment manager is leaving (waaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!) and the new one is supposed to be a piece of work. DOES that mean that moving is in my future - could be but I think this will have to be a purchase to enhance my tax write-off capabilities.

Okay moving on... as I was saying before that little incident....

Ever had the urge to just be really upset with a computer???? So I was all done writing my latest updates and poof!!! gone. URGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My paperwork finally came through for the divorce. It seems the judges had a week of "fun" training on new laws or something like that - so the paperwork sat on Daisy Banks desk for a week... but done now :)

My parents just celebrated their 50th anniversary this past Friday the 15th. My dad's sister and brother both came down. My brother and his wife planned a nice dinner at Lucky 32's for the fourteen of us. I had a nice small serving of Shrimp and Grits, yes I am Southern, and loved every tiny bite of it...

Then we went back to my brother's house. Somehow I don't think they meant to do this, but the kitchen was painted kind of a yellow-gold (used to be green) and the kitchen table was all decorated with golden candles all aglow, a beautiful butter-cream frosted triple layer lemon cake embossed with gold "Happy 50th Anniversary". My nephew Sam created one of his lovely 'shows' at which he sang 5 Little Monkeys in a Tree and of course the all time favorite at weddings.... The Chicken Dance - all complete with animation and all.

D Day + a few days

Thanks again to each of you that sent me well wishes and the flowers. It really was a highlight of my D day.

After the lease/purchase the other day I haven't been much of anywhere with my new wheels. Seems I have too much work to do or something comes up where I can't go out and joyride. Hmmmm - at $3.10 a gallon this week, not sure that is what I want to do anyway.

So my next big purchase was a Dell Inspirion E1505 computer. I literally wore out my other computer with going to school online and was well overdue for a new baby to play with.

In particular I got a Inspiron E1505,Intel Pentium dual-core processor T2080 (1MB/1.73GHz/533MHz). To me it means faster than my other computer, other than that...(not sure).

Anyone know anything about Huntington, WV? We are putting a new call center there and I have the great potential of being there for a period of time. YIPPEE!!! or is that yippee!!! ?

Sunday - What a Day!!

I know you all think that as of late that I have been going slightly insane. Well at least those that have been around me in the last few weeks. So D (Divorce) day is officially coming on May 29th, after 17 1/2 years I have thrown in the towel on that chapter of my life.

Well the last few weeks for some unknown reason I have been looking at new cars. I know, I know, I know..... just bought a used Nissan Altima in October. Well I have looked at Honda Hybrids, Toyota Hybrids, Saturns and just in general been watching all the ads out there for these really low interest rates. Can you believe you can get a car for 0% for 60 months, and here I'm paying 5.65% for 60 months... see where this is leading..... :-)

So today the internet guru at Rice Toyota emails me (yes on Sunday) and wants to know if I'm still interested in the Toytoa Prius. Well after I spent 4 hours at Honda yesterday I decided - no I'm not interested in Hybrids - merely due to the price!!! Over $400/month for 60 months - which is just insane for a car payment....

Okay so I filled out an application for credit at Toyota on line - then John calls me and says wow - never saw credit that good in a long time. Want to come talk - so now he has all the information - and I walk out 2 hours later with a new Camry LE. Yes, I'm still in shock - it's almost identical in color and shape and looks - one huge difference!!! My payments are the same amount and for only 3 years as I qualified for the 0% rate.

Well that is enough excitement for one day .....
